No-Shave November raises cancer awareness

No Shave November 1Jefferson Telecom hosting contest, donating to ACS

Jefferson Telecom invites the community to participate in No-Shave November, a unique way to raise cancer awareness and encourage donations to the American Cancer Society. “Put down your razors and grow a beard in November, then donate the money you usually spend on shaving to support cancer prevention, education, and aid those fighting the battle,” a company spokesperson said.

To enhance the fun of No-Shave November, Jefferson Telecom is holding a contest to see who can grow the best beard. The winner will receive a collection of four Duck Dynasty bobbleheads featuring the famously bearded Phil, Willie, Jase, and Uncle Si.

In order to compete in the Duck Dynasty giveaway, contestants must be a Jefferson Telecom customer. There is no purchase necessary to participate. Post a current photo of yourself with your beard to the Jefferson Telecom Facebook page: www.facebook.com/jeffersontelecom or stop by Jefferson Telecom to have your photo taken. All photos must be posted by noon on Dec. 1 to be entered for the contest. The winner will be announced Dec. 5.

The beard photo with the most “likes” will win four Duck Dynasty bobbleheads. In the case of a tie, Jefferson Telecom will award the winner. Jefferson Telecom will make a donation per entry to the American Cancer Society. Void where prohibited.
